Welcome! I’m Dr. Sagashus, the listening speaker.

…and my mission is to help women accomplish “the impossible.”

Everything about my life’s journey has positioned me to show up for and assist women who are leaders, dream fulfillers, builders of authentic mothering practices, seekers of the best version of yourselves, and value creators.

I completed a PhD that married feminism, motherhood studies, rhetoric, and African American literature. While becoming a doctor, I raised six children—as a single mom. And as the CEO/founder of a successful company, I have led countless diversity, equity, and inclusion workshops; delivered dozens of keynotes; coached CEOs and executives, as well as facilitated training.

But the real magic is in my ability to listen well, connect genuinely, and through serving my clients, offer experiences that create the context and offer tools for others to transform marvelously.

Why Dr. Sagashus?

I believe that regardless of what you’ve been through, seen, heard, or been told…Every piece of your life (including the “ugly” parts) has value. Nothing’s wasted.

I believe that you can accomplish the impossible. People have made metal fly, built empires in economic recessions, and earned degrees while raising children as single parents. They’re not better than you. They are your predecessors and peers. That means you either come from greatness or you’re in great company.

If you are a woman leading a company, organization, industry, cause, or home—especially Black women, women of color, and moms—you deserve to be inspired, coached, and supported. Often, these roles—intentionally or unintentionally—haven’t been created with you in mind. It’s important that you’re set up to thrive.

I believe you can (and should) increase your health alongside your wealth. They complement each other. We don’t allow them to compete. No parts of you have to be a martyr.

I believe that you deserve a life of comfort, satisfaction, and ease. You’re not a beast of burden. You’re a person who has the right to rest and enjoy life, including work.

I believe that it’s important that we all give more than we take because it’s the right thing to do. You’ll be surprised how doing good can set the stage for doing well.

And I believe that my biggest gift to you is my ability to listen.
